Bio

David is primarily from southern California and moved to the Bay Area for the second time in 2017 when he re-joined Primark Benefits. After majoring in Biology at Cal State University Northridge, he entered the Pension Industry in 1981 in Southern California at the largest (at that time) Pension Administrative firm in the State. David worked and was taught by 8 to 10 enrolled actuaries and spent the first 10 years or so primarily working with Defined Benefit Plans.

When the 401(k) market began gaining traction he switched his focus to that part of the business, then eventually worked almost exclusively for the employers that had both plan types and were designed with complex testing.

FUN FACTS

David grew up in Hawaii, his father was a doctor stationed at Tripler Hospital for seven of his eight years in the Army.

HOBBIES

David takes care of many homeless or feral cats in the area and had a colony that at one time of about twenty cats along with six raccoons and two ducks.
